One pocket of my coat smells strongly of curry and the other pocket smells strongly of BPAL, both obtained at the Gathering at WisCon. The curry is in a double set of plastic baggies, and comes from the mix-your-own curry table. It smells divine and I am looking forward to making something with it.
The BPAL is a handful of assorted imps from the testing booth, also wrapped in a napkin and another baggie. I'm not entirely sure about some of the scents, because I got little bits of many of them on my fingertips, and so it was hard to tell what each one smelled like on its own. I plan to try them out over the course of several day, but probably not until after the con, because they are urging people to go light on fragrance, due to some folks having allergies. That totally makes sense to me, and I will be respecting that.
I'm hanging out in the consuite right now, getting a bit of dinner in me. I've run into some folk I know and/or sort of know, including![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
maevele, who I haven't seen in a dog's age. (In fact, I still owe her prints of the photos I took of her and Baby H, back when H was actually a baby.) She is here with her two lovely wee ones, so I got to see the much bigger H and meet the wee little (and very adorable) I. <squee!>
I'm trying to decide which of two panels to attend after the opening ceremonies (which are in about 40 minutes). One of the panels I like for the topic, the other I like for the panelists. It's a tough call. It may end up as a coin toss.
For the moment, think I am going to go in search of a bit more snackage. They have fortune cookies, and I am hoping to be able to add a few to my fortune collection. I'm getting closer to the amount I need for the collage, but it will be a while yet, I believe.
