For years I have been trying to get my sister into LARPing, and for years she has been resisting it. Considering that when we were kids she was right there with my dressing up and running off to rescue princes from evil wizards and the like and that she is quite a good actress, I always thought it would be right up her alley. Unfortunately, her first exposure to gaming came from being a game widow (and having her dorky older sister do it), so she's always held it to be unbearably geeky.

However, today I was talking to her about some one-shots and she actually seemed intrigued. I also showed her pictures from the Boston Below LARP and those interested her as well. I am now going to keep my ears open for any local one-shots that might appeal to her.
